URL Reassign Mapping

DEPENDENCIES:

• Ensure Site_URL_Contextual table is up to date

PROCESS:

1. Populate URL-Reassignments table:
   https://dev.myersmediagroup.com/mmgsvn/KMS/trunk/KWUrlAssociation/trunk/URLReassignMapping

 

2. These should be run for every POS:
   URL_Reassign_Mapping-duplicate-regions.sql
   URL_Reassign_Mapping-hotel-infosites.sql

 

3. Clone URL-Reassignments table to 2nd language

 

4. Clone URL-Reassignments table to 3rd language

NOTES:

The remaining scripts may not be relevant. You must consider whether the POS has the associated templates activated. In particular, URL_Reassign_Mapping-flights.sql should be run only if one set of flights URLs (between Travel Guide and CMS) is to be maintained, and that CMS should be prioritized over Travel Guide.

Run URL_Reassign_Mapping-manual.sql at the direction of the SEOspecialist to reassign all KWs from one URL to the desired URL.
